Grice Family Welcomes Lauren Elizabeth
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph M. Grice of Beaufort announce the birth of a daughter, Lauren Elizabeth, on Dec. 25, 2007.
She weighed 7 lbs. 12 oz.
Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. James H. Stanley of Florence and Mrs. Sara Langley Davis and the late W.C. Davis, also of Florence.

Newmans Welcome Adriana Jane
Adriana Jane Newman was born at 10:11 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008, at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center in Hartsville to Dr. and Mrs. Dale Newman of Hartsville.
Adriana weighed 7 lbs. 2 oz., and was 20 in. long. 
Her maternal grandparent is Ms. Nell Gainey of Hartsville. Her paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Roy Newman of Bethune.
Her maternal great-grandparents are Adrian and Jane Flowers of Hartsville and Lyndal Gainey of Hartsville
Her paternal great-grandparent is Lola Joyner of Bethune.

It’s a Boy!
Nicholas Keegan Parker was born on Feb. 25 at 1:08 p.m. at McLeod. He weighed 7 pounds 12 ounces and was 21 inches long.
Nicholas is the son of Shane Parker and Crystal Anderson.
His grandparents are Timmy and Michelle Anderson of Darlington, and Phil and Michelle Parker of Tega Cay.

Lowder-Jaillette Wedding March 1
Sherilyn Jean Lowder and Harold Prentiss Jaillette, III, both of Florence, were married on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 5 p.m. at Church of King.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Lowder of Hartsville. She is a graduate of Hartsville High School and Clemson University, and has a Juris Doctorate from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. She is employed with Prime Rate Premium Finance Corp., Inc.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold P. Jaillette, Jr. of Darlington. He is a graduate of St. John’s High School and attended Francis Marion University. He is employed with Agency Technologies, Inc. as a Network Administrator.
The double ring ceremony featured the following musicians: Ms. Evelyn Childers, organist; Miss Katie Wyllie, harpist; and Miss Ashlyn Bazen, soloist. The bride was given away by her father, Charles W. Lowder.
The matron of honor was Alison Turner of Columbus, Ohio. The bride attendants were Kerry Garrett of Florence, sister of the bride; Amy Johnston of Florence, sister of the groom; and Beth Edwards of Florence.
The best man was Harold Prentiss Jaillette, Jr., father of the groom. Groomsmen were Schipp Johnston, brother-in-law of the groom; Mark Bolick of Myrtle Beach; Rick Havekost of Florence; and Eddie Stokes, cousin of the groom.
The flower girls were Bella Jaillette, daughter of the groom; and nieces of the groom, Lizzie and Emma Johnston. The usher, program attendant and carpet roller was Austin Garrett.
After the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Schipman Johnston.
After a wedding trip to Savannah, Georgia, the couple will reside in Florence.

Jolly-Caulder Engagement Announced
Mr. and Mrs. Brent Travers of Darlington and the late Mr. Maurice Jolly, Jr. of Lumberton, NC would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Santana Louise Jolly, to Adam Rodney Caulder, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Caulder of Darlington.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Caulder of Fairmont, NC; Mr. and Mrs. David Walsh of Elgin; Ms. Janie Jolly of Lumberton, NC; and the late Mr. Michael Travers of High Springs, FL.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Ms. Shelby Purvis of Florence and the late Mr. Layton Purvis; Ms. Linda Todd of Whitesville, NC and the late Billy Todd; and Ms. Arlene Wood of Florence.
The wedding will be April 19, 2008 at the McCullough House of Darlington.
