Darlington took a 1-0 series lead in the Class AAA state softball championship with a 4-1 win over J.L. Mann on Monday. Courtney Kickery hit a grand slam in the fifth inning to propel the Lady Falcons to the victory.Darlington can wrap up the championship with a win in Greenville on Wednesday (tomorrow). If a third game is necessary it would be played on Friday at a neutral site.
